St. Peter the Apostle Church in Carthage has officially moved into its new space, celebrating the first Mass in the structure on Christmas Eve. The space includes brand-new flooring and pews. Additionally, new cabinets were installed in the sacristy on Jan. 13, and light fixtures and a new front door will be installed in the coming weeks. Much of the work is thanks in large part to parish volunteers. Glenmary Father Don Tranel delivers his homily.

The first Mass at the permanent home of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Carthage was celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The liturgy was for Palm Sunday. Glenmary Father Don Tranel, the pastor, who celebrated the Mass, blesses the space at the start of Mass.
